Marked \Marked\, a.
   Designated or distinguished by, or as by, a mark; hence;
   noticeable; conspicuous; as, a marked card; a marked coin; a

   {A marked man}, a man who is noted by a community, or by a
      part of it, as, for excellence or depravity; -- usually
      with an unfavorable suggestion.
