Cibol \Cib"ol\, n. [F. ciboule, LL. cepula, cepola, dim. of L.
   cepa, caepa, caepe, an onion. Cf. {Chibbal}, {Cives}.]
   A perennial alliaceous plant ({Allium fistulosum}), sometimes
   called Welsh onion. Its fistular leaves areused in cookery.
