Monkflower \Monk"flow`er\, n. (Bot.)
   A name of certain curious orchids which bear three kinds of
   flowers formerly referred to three genera, but now
   ascertained to be sexually different forms of the same genus
   ({Catasetum tridentatum}, etc.).
