Traject \Tra*ject"\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Trajected}; p. pr. &
   vb. n. {Trajecting}.] [L. trajectus, p. p. of trajicere to
   throw across; trans across + jacere to throw. See {Jet} a
   shooting forth.]
   To throw or cast through, over, or across; as, to traject the
