   {Accoutred} (-t[~e]rd); p. pr. & vb. n. {Accoutering} or
   {Accoutring}.] [F. accouter, OF. accoutrer, accoustrer; [`a]
   (L. ad) + perh. LL. custor, for custos guardian, sacristan
   (cf. {Custody}), or perh. akin to E. guilt.]
   To furnish with dress, or equipments, esp. those for military
   service; to equip; to attire; to array.
